Tuna Italiano

Ingredients
   3 tbsps. olive oil
   1 clove garlic, sliced
   1 white onion, diced
   1 cup water
   2 (5 oz.) cans tuna in olive oil
   1 (6 oz.) can pitted black olives, drained and chopped
   1 (15 oz.) can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
   1/2 tsp. garlic salt
   1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
   1 lb. penne pasta
   1/4 cup grated Romano cheese

Direction

   Heat the olive oil over medium heat in a large saucepan. In oil, sauté garlic until golden. Mix in water and onion. Cook until the onion is soft. Mix in tuna with pepper, garlic salt, beans, olives and its oil. While the pasta is cooking, cover and lower the heat to medium-low, simmer.
   Boil the lightly salted water in a large pot. Put in the pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes; then drain. Mix the pasta with the tuna mixture. Sprinkle with the Romano. Enjoy!
