Ingredients
• 1 (8 oz.) package
spaghetti, broken into 2-inch pieces
•
1 egg, beaten
•
1/4 cup milk
•
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
•
1/4 tsp. salt
•
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
•
1 (16 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
•
1 tsp. dried oregano
•
1/4 tsp. dried basil
•
4 oz. pepperoni sausage, sliced
Direction
• Preheat the oven
to 425°F (220°C). Coat a 13x9-inch baking dish with oil.
•
Put water and a little bit of salt in a big pot and
let it boil. Put in the spaghetti and let it cook in boiling salted water for
8-10 minutes until the spaghetti is
al dente then drain the cooked spaghetti; wash the cooked spaghetti in cold
water to let it cool down.
• In a big bowl,
mix the salt, egg, garlic salt, 1/2 cup of the mozzarella cheese and milk together. Add in the
cooked spaghetti and mix it thoroughly.
•
Put the mixture into the greased baking dish. Put it
in the preheated oven and let it bake for 15 minutes. Take the baked spaghetti
mixture out from the oven then lower
the temperature of the oven to 350°F (175°C).
•
Pour the sauce on top of the baked spaghetti
mixture. Top it off with basil,
leftover 1 1/2 cups of mozzarella and oregano. Put the pepperoni evenly on top
then put it back in the oven and let it bake for 30 more minutes until the
cheese is starting to turn brown in color and is already bubbling. Let the
mixture
sit for 5 minutes first before slicing.
