Ingredients
• 1 (16 oz.) package spaghetti
• 1 lb. ground sausage
• 1/2 onion, chopped
• 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
• 2 tbsps. margarine
• 1 (14.5 oz.) can diced tomatoes
• 1 (6 oz.) can tomato sauce
• 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
• 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, or more to taste
• 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, or more to taste
Direction
• Bring lightly salted water in a big pot to a boil. In the boiling water, cook spaghetti for 12 minutes while stirring sometimes, until it is cooked through yet still firm to the bite. Drain spaghetti.
• In a big skillet, cook and stir sausage on medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes, until crumbly and browned. Drain sausage and get rid of grease. Stir sausage with margarine, bell pepper and onion, then lower heat to low and cook with a cover for 3-5 minutes, until onion is tender.
• Stir the sausage mixture with Italian seasoning, tomato sauce and tomatoes, then bring mixture to a boil. Stir in Parmesan cheese and drizzle over cooked spaghetti. Put mozzarella on top.
